And if you've ever lost an hour wandering around a beautiful homewares store, touching every cushion and rearranging things in your head, then you and I are going to get along just fine.

I've always loved interiors. Not in a perfectly curated, everything-must-match kind of way, more in a this space should feel like you kind of way. Warm, lived-in, layered with things that have a story. A great throw. A piece of art that makes you stop. A candle that smells like a Sunday morning. The kind of home that feels good to come back to.

Growing up in Cowra, I always dreamed of creating a space that felt genuinely inspiring but never intimidating. Somewhere local women could come to shop, feel excited about their homes, and leave with something they absolutely love. So when the opportunity came to take over Unearthed Homewares rather than see a much-loved local store disappear, it felt less like a business decision and more like a full-circle moment.

What you'll find here is a carefully considered mix, timeless pieces sitting alongside fun, colourful finds with real personality. Natural textures, cosy layers and earthy tones, but never without a little unexpected colour or something that makes you smile. I source from brands I genuinely love and believe in, the kind you won't find in every shopping centre, because I think the pieces in your home should feel like a choice, not a default.

The community side of this is something I treasure. Chatting with customers, helping someone figure out what their bedroom is missing, watching someone light up over a find they weren't expecting, that's the part of retail that never gets old. Whether you're popping into the store on Macquarie Street or discovering us online from somewhere further afield, I want every experience with Unearthed to feel warm, creative and a little bit exciting.

Balancing business ownership with country life, family and community is real and sometimes wonderfully chaotic, but it also means I understand exactly what it feels like to want a home that's both beautiful and liveable. That's what I'm building here, one carefully chosen piece at a time.
